Workshops, Courses and Events
From time to time we run workshops and courses for those who wish to look deeper into Druidry.
There are introductory days explaining the background to Druidic ritual and practice.
The full course looks at Druidry as a life path. From daily practice through to service, we learn about the work of the Bard, the Ovate and the Druid.
Preparation for this course begins at Samhain. The time when we go back into the Earth and take with us the seeds of what we intend to do when we re-emerge at Imbolc.
If you would be interested in learning more about Druidry, please use the contact page and we will reply with further details.
Earthshine Introductory Course
Our introductory course takes place over four Sundays in Autumn. Dates not yet confirmed for this year. If you are interested please use our contact form to get in touch.
Discover Paganism - Celebrate the Season
The old pagan ways were developed by our relationship with the seasons and the changes in the earth energy. When we work with the energy of the season, we become far more proficient at anything we set out to accomplish.
In recent years, there has been a lot of interest and openness about paganism. But there is still a lot of uncertainty that makes people wary about anything labelled 'pagan'. These workshops will help you to connect with the energy along with a healthy dose of myth busting.
Each workshops will take place on or a little before we celebrate the season so that you will be able to work with the rhythm of the earth energies and have the information your need to create your own personal ritual.

Introduction to Celtic Shamanism
Shamanism is a very ancient method of finding answers and solutions to puzzles and problems we are experiencing in our everyday life. Essentially, we are taking ourselves out of our usual body-bound self, and travelling into a spirit world to seek advice and see things from a very different perspective. This is called journeying.
We are not alone on this kind of journey, we have guides and helpers. Some stay with us for a long time, some just for the journey.
What is Celtic Shamanism? This is a general term used to define the shamanic practices of these isles we now call the United Kingdom. It is based in our own myths and legends from which sprang the stories of Arthur and Merlin.
Shamanism is about a natural relationship with our planet and, just as the shamans in Siberia, the Americas, the Antipodes relate to their own local spirits, so we can connect with the spirits of our own lands.
Stories of Nature Spirits and Elementals abound and it is clear that humans once had a much stronger relationship with the natural world.
Shamanism is a tradition rooted firmly in the land. We acknowledge the four direction, we acknowledge the Elementals, we connect to our higher self – the part of us that knows why we are here!
During this introductory workshop we will work with our own personal sacred space; we will learn about spiritual protection; and we will make a shamanic journey to meet one of our guides.
